OCD and Anxiety Treatment San Francisco Bay Area

Work with Me

I rely heavily on evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which look closely at how our thoughts, behaviors and feelings interact with each other generating patterns that, at times, can keep us stuck.

“Our lives are stories in which we write, direct and star in the leading role. Some chapters are happy while others bring lessons to learn, but we always have the power to be the heroes of our own adventures."

— Joelle Speranca

My Approach

My collaborative approach balances compassionate support with gentle encouragement, helping you move from feeling stuck to feeling inspired and capable.

Our Journey Begins…

with a comprehensive exploration of your history, including your cultural and spiritual values. Together, we’ll examine how anxiety and OCD symptoms manifest in your life, identify your triggers and evaluate your existing coping strategies.

Psychoeducation…

forms a crucial part of our work together. By understanding the mechanisms of anxiety and OCD, you’ll learn to recognize their subtle influences on your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. This knowledge becomes your power- enabling you to develop a wiser relationship with the unique manifestations of your anxiety/OCD.

Exposure and Response PRevention (ERP)…

is where transformation happens. Through this evidence-based approach you will make empowering behavioral changes that teach your anxiety/OCD who is really in charge-you.

I believe in personalized treatment, not one-size fits all solutions. Your ERP experience will be carefully tailored to your unique needs and readiness level. This isn’t about forcing change; it’s about moving forward when you feel that internal “yes”- when that part of you, despite some natural apprehension, says:

“I’m ready!”

…and I will be here every step of the way, honored to witness you reclaim the clarity, focus and peace that is your birthright.
